sleeping much better now that i am not worrying all night about going to hopkins and the lengthy and stressfull drive to baltimore ( i am not a long distance commuter type of person. being on the interstate during the rainy november month brought back memories of the time in spring 1997 in alabama that laci and i hydroplaned and spun off the interstate backwards going only 50 mph in very light rain . and yes it was rainy and slick nearly every day we drove to and from hopkins. i just buried my ptsd emotions from that1997 incident and dealt with them as additional sleeplesness during the night. all better now though.felt healthy enough to be out almost the whole day today with laci doing some last minute shopping for the boys.going to this on sunday with my family and my sister and brother-in-law and their youngest daughter. love to all of you keeping us in your prayers.

Hey Scott – glad to hear you are resting better and are able to spend time out and about (I know how you hate being cooped up)..My in-laws gave us the scenic railroad trip as a birthday present a number of years ago and the scenery is usually very nice running through the valley, dress warm and have a good time!
as it turns out I have caught a pretty bad head cold which is turning into a sinus infection so i skipped the train ride this year.
Getting to sleep ALWAYS improves life. I understand that our brains work a lot of stuff out when we sleep. … I remember when you told me about that experience on I85. I have always thought about that when I am driving in the rain and have taken special notice of the risk factors for hydroplaning.
i tend to obsess over that risk especially when i am not the one driving…but i am gradually getting over it
Neil Med sinus rinse: try it (I do it every day).
I have not taken a sinus pill in 4 months (and you remember my allergy issues!).
We’re so glad your getting some respite from all the trauma.
We love you, Scott,
Aaron, Lisa, & Allison
Sorry about the head cold and that you had to cancel the trip – discretion is the better part of valor on this one.
Hope you are feeling better soon..

Scott,
Good to hear you are getting out and about, you will be back to clearing the back portion of your yard in no time. Make sure you are still getting the rest you need. Talk about dangers on the road….. boy I do not know how you made it down here in AL!!!! We got 1 1/2 inch of snow and they closed down the bridge south of Huntsville, they closed down 231 going through Huntsville and any other overpass, just in case. At first I thought they were just being over cautious but boy did they do the right thing! People here just do not know how to drive in the rain or cold!!! Anyway, stay safe and enjoy the holiday season. Peace Brother!!

Scott,
Thanks for the update. Hope that you and your family enjoy your Mom & Dad’s visit. Love Nan
Scott, how you doing? Haven’t seen any updates.
Wow already into the end of January and week 50 is almost gone. 1 Jan 2011 will probably me my last day at government work.
I am counting down and looking forward to the change.
Hope your hanging in. Did you ever try the Artemisia-Mugwort herb? If you need more let me know.
Hope to see you in the office soonest. ECR
