Dec 4th, 2009 no more day trips to hopkins and 4 weeks off the chemo poison pills I am looking forward to getting rested and gaining at least 15 pounds back and having enough time during the day to prepare the healthy meals i need to fight the cancer with my own immune system while waiting for the brain swelling from the radiation to subside.

that certainly is the goal. the more full nights of rest i can get without the dread of having to wake up to drive to baltimore for a miserable day of doctors and radiation means i can prepare the meals and fresh juices i need to really let my body take over the cancer fight

Brain swelling…..that’s something new for you?
unfortunately it is not and it is very uncomfortable unless you have been previously trepanned (large holes remove from skull to allow brain to expand and swell (surgical proceedure traced all the way back to 4000 BC or so actually.
Great news on the radiation and chemo treatments – hope the 4 week break gives you ample time to reload and recharge.
Understand you are going to the game, enjoy (because your guys should be stomping Vince’s guys)!

I bet you are happy to get off that poison for awhile. Drink plenty of fluids, take your vitamins and get plenty of rest to let you natural body work its magik. I do not know what kind of magik you all up there are working but making it snow here in Huntsville, AL was not nice!!!! Take it easy and good to hear you are doing well.

well we look forward to seeing you when you come in then. brain swelling and head swelling are two separate things you know but i am confident that the brain swelling from the cancer treatment will be totally gone in a few more weeks.
